We are blessed with beautiful weather in the Sunshine State but summer can be a real bear sometimes. Do you need to beat the heat? Sarasota has fabulous beaches and evening can be the best time to visit Siesta or Lido or your personal favorite. Take a friend and have an after-dinner stroll, dipping your feet in the warm salt water and feeling the sand between your toes. Be sure to stay for the sunset and look for the elusive “green flash!”
Looking for ways to cool down during the day? Sarasota is blessed with a vibrant arts community. Why not visit the Ringling Museum or Art Center Sarasota? Take in a movie or check out the many thrift and consignment stores in the area. There is always something fun to do in town. Enjoy the summer!
